Fujitsu FM-11

The Fujitsu FM-11 was the professional counterpart to the FM-7, offering more memory, higher-resolution graphics and business-oriented disk configurations. ST and AD versions used a 6809-family main processor, while the EX added an Intel 8088 for 16-bit software.

With F-BASIC, disk operating systems and CP/M-86 on the EX, the range served technical and office users who needed more expansion than Fujitsu’s home computers. Its 640x400 display and Japanese text support anticipated the FM16β.

Notable Features
  • ST, AD and EX models covered 8-bit and dual-processor configurations.
  • Up to 640x400 graphics and substantial memory targeted professional use.

  • Provided the foundation for the FM16β business computer.
Collector’s Notes
  • Specifications differ significantly among ST, AD and EX models.
  • Match software and disks to the processor configuration of the exact machine.
