Released in August 1993, the Amstrad PCW 10 was the final model to retain the original PCW architecture and CP/M compatibility. It combined a Z80 processor with 512KB of RAM, a 1.44MB 3.5-inch floppy drive, paper-white display and a supplied dot-matrix printer.
The PCW 10 reused the compact styling of the PCW 9256 while adding a standard Centronics parallel port and increased memory. Locoscript and CP/M Plus maintained access to the long-established PCW software library.
