Tandy TRS-80 Pocket Computer PC-4

The Tandy PC-4 was a low-cost Casio-designed pocket computer offering ten labelled program areas and a compact implementation of BASIC. An optional memory module and matching cassette and printer accessories expanded its usefulness.

At $69.95 it moved Tandy’s pocket range closer to scientific-calculator pricing while retaining stored BASIC programs and string handling.

Notable Features
  • The handheld uses Custom CMOS VLSI processor.
  • Program and working memory was 1.9KB; optional 1KB module increases program capacity.
  • Information is shown on 12-character alphanumeric LCD.
