The Tandy TRS-80 Model 200 extended the Model 100 concept with a folding clamshell enclosure, a display twice as tall and a larger potential RAM filesystem. Its ROM applications and communications interfaces remained familiar to Model 100 users.
It anticipated the physical layout of later laptops while preserving the long battery life and instant operation of Tandy’s 80C85 portable family.
