The Tandy 1400 LT was an IBM-compatible folding laptop with a full-width LCD, two 3.5-inch floppy drives and a rechargeable battery. It brought Tandy’s DOS software and retail support to a more conventional portable design than the Model 600.
Successive 1400 FD and HD versions refined the same family with higher-density drives and hard-disc storage, so they are documented as revisions here.
