The Atari Stacy 4 was the highest-memory production Stacy, pairing 4MB of RAM with an internal floppy drive and a 40MB hard disk. It retained the 640x400 monochrome LCD, integrated trackball, full-size keyboard and ST-compatible interfaces of the other models.
With the maximum practical ST memory and more local storage, the Stacy 4 targeted demanding mobile music, publishing and development users. Its rarity, specialised purpose and substantial original price make it the flagship of Atari’s first portable computer family.
