Apple Power Macintosh 6100

Apple Power Macintosh 6100 was introduced in 14 March 1994. It placed Apple's first PowerPC processor in the low-profile Quadra 610 enclosure and retained compatibility with most 68K Macintosh software. It combined PowerPC 601 at 60 MHz with 8MB; expandable to 72MB.

Together with the 7100 and 8100, it began Apple's migration from Motorola 68K processors to the jointly developed PowerPC architecture.
