The Acorn Risc PC 700 upgraded the modular desktop with a 40 MHz ARM710, RISC OS 3.60 and larger storage configurations. It retained the processor-card and second-processor flexibility of the Risc PC 600.
The faster ARM710 was an important interim step before StrongARM transformed the performance of the same expandable platform.
